Dr Natasha Pritchard: Fertility Specialist | Newlife IVF

Dr Natasha Pritchard

MBBS MREPROMED PHD

Natasha completed her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Mercy Hospital for Women, gaining further experience at Monash Health, the Northern Hospital and Bendigo Health. She also obtained a Master of Reproductive Medicine through the University of New South Wales.

Research has always been a big part of who she is, leading her to complete a PhD in perinatal epidemiology at the University of Melbourne in 2023. She remains deeply involved in research to improve outcomes after IVF conception, saying: ‘There’s nothing I love more than helping answer previously unanswered questions and making even a small improvement to clinical practice.’

Her commitment to patient care goes beyond medical expertise. What she finds most rewarding is providing her patients with both reassurance and clarity: ‘When someone comes in feeling stressed about their fertility, I listen and work with them to create a plan that leaves them feeling happier and more confident moving forward.’

At Newlife IVF, she combines her expertise with a research-driven approach to support patients on their path to parenthood, always striving for the best possible outcomes: ‘I love that Newlife has an incredible lab and a team that is truly dedicated to helping patients. What happens behind the scenes makes all the difference, ensuring our patients get the best possible results.’

Outside of work, Natasha loves exploring Melbourne’s best nature spots or roasting marshmallows around the firepit with her three boys. She also has a talent for uncovering hidden gems at the op shop and getting lost in a great fantasy novel.
